The Value of CSA
Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) is a sustainable eco-friendly way for our customers to enjoy fresh, delicious, nutrient-dense food by partnering directly with us—a farm committed to producing high quality organic crops. This partnership with your farmer ensures that the products will pass the exceptional flavor test while also meeting the high standards for sustainability and fair trade practices.
There is an abundance of information on how “eating locally” is not only of direct benefit to the customer and farmer, but to the environment as well. Just imagine the benefit of one fuel-efficient vehicle delivering high-quality produce that was picked less than 24 hours before being delivered to several dozen homes. And then compare that idea to the “Mileage Plus” tomato.
“If every U.S. citizen ate just one meal a week, composed of locally and organically raised meats and produce, we would reduce our countries oil consumption by over 1.1 million barrels of oil every week.”

Reflect a moment on food safety. In an era of on-going food recalls, it’s good to know that your trusted farmer will deliver only the best. The growing, harvesting, washing and packing of a produce-laden CSA box will be handled in one location following meticulous organic and USDA standards. Your nutrient-dense fresh produce will offer greater health benefits, taste better, cook faster and store longer than supermarket produce.
The CSA Agreement
A CSA agreement is a simple contract between you and your trusted farmer. It spells out what will be delivered and what your investment will be for this type of planet-sustaining healthy eating.
